What's on the bench

Feb 16 - Temporarily placing the 20-string Sullivan/Elliot harp guitar on the back burner so I can focus on these two new 5-string bass builds.

The first is a mahogany neck-through 5-string JSG "J-bIrd" bass, with a beautiful flamed Koa top/ebony center stripe.

 

The second is a chambered body (semi acoustic) 5-string, also a mahogany neck-through. Will feature a flamed maple top, ebony fretboard and bindings, black hardware and a natural gloss finish. This JSG A5 will have an acoustic under-saddle transducer and preamp, wired to standard top-mounted volume and tone.
